Welcome to the Impact Report!

For most, summertime consists of sunshine that stretches late into the evening, vacations, shorts, and sandals – a time to relax and rejuvenate. For Impact however, summertime 2018 has meant making moves and remembering the importance of relationships and responsibility. From the worlds of high-tech and high-finance to healthcare community outreach, and diversity and inclusion, my team and I continue to tell the stories that matter to women, men and children everywhere.

As the fall and winter months approach, I am re-inspired by one of our core values: Do the Right Thing. In this season of uncertainty, doing the right thing includes assessing our surroundings and exercising our right to vote. With the November 6 midterm elections upon us, we can affect change and maintain the principals that matter most if we all get out and vote. I invite you to join Team Impact as we continuously improve ourselves, our communities and the clients we serve.

Do the right thing. Get involved. Stay engaged. Vote.

– Cheryl McCants, president & CEO

Watch Us Work

Members of the team participated in Odyssey Day 2018 where we were inspired and uplifted by intimate discussions with multicultural women around the Art of Negotiation and the Power of Words. After listening in on an up-close and personal conversation with Spotify’s global vice president Danielle Lee, executive coach Audra Bohannon, reminded us to walk tall and “move through the world without apology.”

Peskin, executive director of Population Health at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield New Jersey, presented new information about heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic diseases – their symptoms, preventions, and cures.

Cheryl, CanDice and Justine supported the Women President’s Educational Organization during their annual Breakthrough Breakfast and Procurement Fair held at NYC’s The Plaza Hotel. Congratulations to PepsiCo’s Supplier Diversity Team for winning the Corporate Champion Award. They have spent $22 billion with women-owned businesses since 1982.
